Festschrift in Honor of Dr.V.Kasi Rao
Dr.V.KasiRao M.A.,
M.L.I.S., Ph.D. (LIS) currently working as
Principle Documentation officer & Head, Department of Documentation and
Information Science, CSIR –CLIR, Chennai. He has been in the information science profession
for the than three decades. He has
contributed for the LIS Profession by the way of his writings/Contributions
at various national and international conferences, journals, edited volumes and
so on. He has guided a number of M.Phil. & PhD Scholars in the field of LIS. He is one of the few LIS professionals who has
gained the recognition in the CSIR institutions in India. He has contributed for the documenting of leather
research output in the form of Leather Science Abstracts (LESA). After successful innings in the profession
and service in the CSIR-CLRI, he is going to superannuate by the 31st August 2017.
Keeping in view of the
remarkable achievements and contributions, the students and research scholars,
fellow professions, friends and admirers have decided to felicitate him on the
day of superannuation and to release the Festschrift volume in his honor.
